... intention to discontinue use of the Office at Wallbridge on the 29^th Sept next. The Notice was accepted.
Wharf House at Stonehouse: Inside repair
M^r Hooper's estimate of £11 was accepted.
Saul Bridge
The Clerk reported that about nine planks in the bridge required renewing. The Clerk was authorised to carry out the work.
Shallow Lock Bridge
The Clerk reported that the outside beam of this bridge, on the Stroud side, is in bad condition & should be renewed. The Clerk was instructed to report further to the Chairman.
It was Resolved that a sum of £250 out of the balance standing to the credit of the Company's Account at Lloyd's Bank Ltd Stroud should be placed on deposit with the Chancery Land Safe Deposit and Offices C^o Ltd.
Stop Gate at Framilode: Messrs Hobrough's A/c, £9..17..3
The Clerk was instructed to inform Messrs Hobrough that the Committee still considered that his A/c is somewhat excessive and to offer £8 in settlement.
