Summary

Clerk reported that Gas Works Bridge should be replaced. Messrs Daniels invited to submit estimate for fabric of a new iron bridge. Temporary repairs to make bridge usable during winter.

Clerk to call attention of District Surveyor, Mr Alderton, to unsanitary and leaky condition of Wallbridge Pound.

[1935] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 16^th day of October 1935 @ 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, Marcus Stewart, R J C Little.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Stonehouse Wharf House
The Clerk reported that no further communication had been received from Mr Palmer as to his verbal application to take the house on a lease.
Shallow Lock Bridge: Occupation Bridge
The Clerk reported that the repair of this bridge had been completed.
Gloucestershire County Council: Widening at Wallbridge
The Chairman reported in full the proposals of the County Council, and of the Bill Posting C^oy: after discussion the Chairman undertook to write to the County Council.
Stonehouse Wharf: M^r Baker
The Clerk was instructed to offer a further part of the Wharf to M^r Baker at £5 per annum rent, on a quarterly tenancy, payable in advance, subject to a signed Agreement, and to ask him to supply particulars of the tanks which he proposed to put down for the storing of oil on the Wharf.
Gas Works Bridge
The Clerk reported that this bridge should be replaced, the Committee directed that Messrs Daniels be invited to submit an estimate for the fabric of a new iron bridge. In the meantime the Clerk was directed to make such temporary repairs as would make the Bridge usable during the winter.
Framilode Lock House
The Clerk was authorised to obtain and have fixed a new boiler for the wash house.
Typewritter
Messrs Dobell Shearman & Coy's estimate of £1..5..0 for cleaning and repairing of Office Typewriter was accepted.
Gloucestershire County Council: Wallbridge Pound
The Clerk was directed to call the attention of the District Surveyor (M^r Alderton) t the unsanitary and leaky condition of the Wallbridge pound.
