Committee Meeting held on Wednesday the 18^th day of December 1935 at 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, R J C Little, Marcus Stewart.
Only three Members of the Committee being present there was no quorum, but there being some matters requiring immediate attention, it was decided to proceed with them, subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Stonehouse Wharf House: Mr Palmer
A letter had been received from Mr Palmer stating that he had decided to continue the present Agreement.
Gloucestershire County Council: Widening at Wallbridge
The Chairman stated that a Duplicated Memorandum had been signed on behalf of the County Council in relation to the corner of the garden of the Canal Offices at Wallbridge sold to that Body and the purchase price £50 had been paid to the Company's A/c at Lloyds Bank Ltd Stroud.
Stonehouse Wharf: M^r Baker
Mr Baker had not replied to the Company's enquiry re tanks, etc.
Gas Works Bridge
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting estimates had been submitted to the Gas Company; the Manager had personally informed the Clerk that his Directors would communicate with the Committee in due course. He would advise a stronger bridge than the present one and he would inquire if his Company would pay extra for overtime.
Property at Framilode
The Clerk reported that the defective flue at M^r Wathan's cottage had been repaired and was now satisfactory.
New Minute Book
The Committee agreed to the purchase of a new Minute Book as described by the Chairman.
Land Drainage Act 1930
The Clerk as directed had ascertained that the West Gloucestershire Drainage Scheme referred to the drainage of land to the West of Gloucester.
Ordered that the nest Meeting of the Committee be held at Wallbridge on teh 22^nd day of January 1936 at 4 o'clock pm and the General Half Yearly Meeting @ 4.30pm on same day.
