Subcommittee Meeting. Mr Holbrow and Mr Sikes had seen Mr Kimberly about tonnage on grain. To regain lost traffic on grain drawback allowed of 4d per ton to Brimscombe and 7d per ton to Stroud and below Brimscombe.

At a Sub Committee Meeting of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Thursday February 4th 1846
Present: M^r Will^m Fryer, Geo Wathen, Hen Wyatt, Dan Watts.
In consequence of Communications from M^r Holbrow and M^r Sikes, stating they had seen M^r Kimberly on the subject of the Tonnage on Grain, whereby it appears that if the Stroudwater Navigation reduce their Tonnage thereon to Eightpence per Ton to Stroud and Brimscombe,
Resolved that in Order to regain the last traffic on Grain a Drawback be allowed on that article of Fourpence per Ton to Brimscombe and Seven pence per ton to Stroud and below Brimscombe, and that our Clerk do inform the Merchants of Glocester thereof.
