At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Monday July 20th 1846
Present: M^r Will^m Fryer, Jn^o H Warman, G H A Beard, Dan^l Watts, Rich^d Martin Chairman, Jn^o Holbrow, Geo Wathen, Fred^k Eycott, Hen^y Wyatt.
Ordered that the Committee do make the usual voyage of Inspection down the Canal on tuesday the 18th August next, the Boat proceed from Wallbridge Wharf at 9 O'Clock in the Morning.
A Letter having been read from Rob S Davies Esq^re complaining of the state of the Bridge leading to his House,
Ordered that our Clerk do inform him that the Committee will do down for the inspection of the Canal on Tuesday the 18th August next and would be happy to meet him at the Bridge, when a person shall be sent to inform him of the arrival of the Boat at that place.
A Notice was received from James White to quit the house he rents of the Company at Michaelmas.
Ordered that M^r Hawker be empowered to let the same at the same rent and conditions as before.
It having been reported that the Glocester & Berkeley Canal Company are allowed 2½ per Ct upon the average balance of money in their Bankers Hands,
It was unanimously resolved that application be made through our Treasurer, to the County of Glocester Banking Company to allow the Stroudwater Company the same rate of interest and that our Clerk do transmit o Copy of this resolution to him for that purpose.
Ordered that the following Billd be paid:

Property & Income Tax due Apl 5h last: 18..19..-
Repairs of Canal as per Sundry Bills: 8..4..-
Ordered that a Special Meeting of the Committee be called for Thursday July 30th at 10 O'Clock in the morning for the purpose of meeting the Committee of the Thames and Severn Canal Company.
M^r Willson having sent in the substance of an agreement proposed for consideration of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation and the Thames & Severn Canal Company of the 30th July Ins^t and he having requested to be informed if the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation objected to any part thereof.
Ordered that M^r Hawker do wait on M^r Willson and inform him that this Committee agree to the terms proposed subject to the alterations made therein.
