Dear Sir,
Accident, Bristol Road Lock
I am in receipt of your letter of the 20^th inst, which I wlll lay before my Committee.
In the meantime I may say that although the work will be expediated in every possible way it will be necessary for you to raise your sluices on the River Frome at Whitminster so as to keep that river as low as possible during the time our pound is empty, so as to relieve the pressure at the aqueduct.
