State) in England, out of London, I mean the County Infirmary, I am strongly induced to hope that the Subscription, entered into in order to Support the Expence of making fresh Surveys and Calculations of the Expences that may attend this Undertaking, will be happily productive of its Execution; and that no less Encouragement will be given to the Scheme tending to promote the Emolument and Labour of the Poor in a State of Health and Ability, than hath been shown in support and relieve them in the Season of Misfortunes, Sickness, and consequent Distress; since both may be equally esteemed worthy of Attention of Men of Property, Charity, and Generosity, and, to include all, worthy of every True Briton, whose benevolent Soul is warmed to Ardor for his Country's Welfare.
