A Proposal for Cutting the Stroud Water Canal Navigation from Bristol Road to Wallbridge.
from Bristol Road to Ryeford the price per Solid yard threepence for the first four foot Deep, and threepence halfpenny for the next three foot, and for Puddle gutters and Puddling per Solid yard two pence for the gutters, and eight pence for the Puddles, and for the Rampasting two pence per Superficial yard, for Stocking up Trees one Shilling each, and for hedges threepence per yard in Length, and for Backing up Bridges Seven pound ten Shilling each, Lock pits Excluded.
Or Including Cutting Puddling, Ramparting Stocking up Trees and Hedges Six hundred and forty Pounds per Mie and the price for Backing Bridges as above Lock pits excluded.
From Ryeford to Wallbridge the price per Solid Yard two pence three farthings for the first four feet and threepence farthing for the next three feet and the next two feet below to advance one halfpenny per Yard, etc, and for Puddle, etc, the price as above.
Or Including Cutting Puddling Ramparting Stocking Trees and Hedges five hundred and fifty Six Pounds per Mile and Lock pits excluded as above mentioned
to go by the Last Survey taken by M^r Lingard the 19^th and 20^th of Nov^r 1776.
