1785 A Estimate for Building a Wall at the Quay from the uper end of the Culvate near Mr Marles to the Corner of Mr Smiths Stables. Pillars for gates, Quoines, &c.
To 44 Perch of Wall Stone Carrage Lime workmanship &c at 9^s per Pearch: 19..16..0
To 200 feet of Stone in Pillars at 1^s per foot: 10..0..0
To 80 feet of Quoin at the neds at 6^d per foot: 2..0..0
To 100 feet of Coping (?) Measure, Putting on &c at 10 per foot: 4..3..4.

[Crossed out: the above Mentioned wall to be Build with Ragg Stone 18^I Above the ground & the other part with good wallstones from Rodborough hill 2 feet thick at bottom & 18 Inches at the Top.]
