Gentlemen as under I have Sent you a Proposal for Makeing Bricks and Laying them to fiend the diging of the Clay Make the Bricks and Burn them to fiend Coales and all utentials that his wanting for the said purpose and to fiend the Burning Of the Lime and Coales and Laying the Bricks and fiend Sand and Carry the Bricks and Lime as fare as there his water in the Canal to Carry them for the sum of 1^£..2^s..0^d per Thousand.
Further More when the Bricks are Burnt to Deliver^d the Bricks upon the Banks and for som of your Clarks belonging to the work to count them and to see that they are Good Bricks.
And well Burnt fit for any purpors
And if there not Good Bricks I will not desier you to have them
