General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 23^rd day of July 1947 @ 3, 30 o'clock pm WGS Bloxam Chairman.
It appears that the sum of £416 0s 4d has been received from the 1^st day of January 1947 to the 30^th June 1947 and a balance brought forward of £306 4s 3d making a total of £722 4s 7d of which £414 16s 7d has been applied towards payment of Wages, Disbursements etc and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £307 8s 0d. Ordered that no Dividend for the Half Year ending June 1947 be paid.
£511 19s 5d 3 1/2% War Loan Stock valued at £526 1s 0d and £183 7s 8d 3% National Defence Stock 1954-58 stands to the credit of the Reserve Fund making a total of £709 18s 8d.
Resolved that the following Gentlemen form the Committee for the year next following or until another Committee is appointed.
