Breadth of the Openings below the Gates at Mr Cambridges is 8 feet 10 Inches,
Breadth of the Openings Above the Gates is 6 feet 2 Inches. Breadth of the Wear is 15 feet.
4 Gates in the whole.
at Mr Cambridges Mill on Sunday June 4th 1775 being the Driest time in the whole summer
Run thro a opening 7 feet wide by 16 Inches Deep, measured by Ben Grazebrook, in the presence of Jno Gleave, Jno Horwood, and Richd Hall..
Measured again on Sunday June 18 by Ben Grazebrook.
Run thro the an opening the same breadth by 18 Inches Deep.
Measured again on Sunday July 2 and found it full as above.

Measured on Sunday August 27th at 12 of the Clock
Found it Runover the Gates 19 Inches Deep & 8 Inches under the Surface of the Water
at the same time Run over the wear 7 Inchess Deep
720 Locks in 24 hours
Tone 95657,52 in 12 hours.
Measured again on Sunday Sept 3 at 12 of the Clock
found it Run under the Gates 2 feet 4 Inches Deep, besides what Run thro the Mill which could not be measured.
Measured again the same Day at 4 of the Clock and found it the same.

found it Run under the Gates 2 feet 4 Inches Deep

found it Run over the Top of the Gates 19 Inches Deep and 9 Inches under the Sruface of the water

found it Run over 3 of the Gates 19 Inches, ad 4 Inches under the Surface of the water
and Run under one of the Gates 2 feet 6 Inches Deep, and under the Surface of the water 3 feet 9 Inches
measured atain at 4 o Clock the same Day and found it full as above.
at Mr Cooks Mill Pond 1775
Measured on Sunday Sept 24th at 10 of the Clock in the Morning
found it Run thro 15 openings from the Surface of the water 23 Inches wide and 12 Inches Deep each

measured again at 6 of the Clock in the evening
found it Run over two Gates 23 Inches wide each, and 2 Inches Deep
also over one Gate 2 feet wide and 7 Inches Deep
also Run thro 2 openings under the Gates 2 feet 6 Inches wide each, and 16 Inches Deep, and 2 feet 2 Inches under the Surface of the water.
on Sunday Sept 24th Run 161 Locks full in 12 hours, which is only 4 minutes & 29 Seconds, in filling one Lock.
at Mr Cooks Mill Pond 1775
on Sunday Octbr 1st at one oClock in ye Day
Run thro two Gates No 3 and No 4 3feet 3 Inches Deep
Tons 42033,60 in 12 hours
at same time Measured the standing water at the two Gates No 2 and 5 not drawn up and found it 3 feet 4 I full.
Measured again at 3 oClock and found it one Inch Less than Above.
The same Day, the Pound being out could ? only ten Minutes before it run over..
On Sunday Octbr 8th at two oClock
Run thro 2 Gates No 3 and 4 2 feet 11 Incheds Deep
Tons 37990.08 in 12 hours which is 255 of the small Locks full in 12 hours.

Measured the Woodchester water at Mr Hawkers Mill Pond on Sunday Octbr 1st at two oClock
found it Run thro and opening 18 Inches wide and 2 feet 8 Inches Deep
at the other Mill
Run thro one opening 14 Inches wide and 14 Inches Deep
Run thro one Do 16 Inches wide and 10 Inches Deep,
each Containing 262 ?
Tons 36417,84 in 12 hours wch is 138 Locks full.
The Woodchester Water at the time it was measured, run at the rate of 138 Locks full in twelve hours which takes only 5 Minutes & 30 Sec time to fill a Lock.
The time the undermentioned Mill Ponds were filling with the Natural Current, on Sunday October 8th 1775 the Pounds being first drawn out as Low as Possible
also the time the Current was going from one Mill to the other

Run over two Gates 6 Inches Deep
Run over one Do 19 Inches Deep & 3 Inches under the Surface of the water
Run over one Do 16 Inches Deep
Run under one of the Gates 16 Deep and 4 feet 8 Inches under the surface of the water
at the same time Run over the wear 5 Inches
Measured again ag half after four oClock and found it Run over the wear 8 Inches and thro the same openings as above, only they are to reckoned 3 Inches more under the Surface of the water.
