To the Honorable the Commons of Great Britain in parliament assembled
The Humble petition of the Masters, Wardens and Commonalty of the Society of Merchants of the City of Bristol under their common seal

That your petitioners observe the the Votes of this Honourable House that application is made for a Bill to make & maintain a Navigation from the Severn at or near Framiload toe Wallbridge near the Town of Stroud in the County of Glouct
That your petitioners apprehend such navigation will be very beneficial to the Trade and Commerce of this City & part & will likewise be of great public Utility.
Wherefore your petitioners humbly pray that such Bill may be read & pass into a Law and your ?
