Wharf at Chippenham Platt to be drained.
Ragg stone to be procured from Rodborough Hill for the foundation of the culvert at Ryeford.
Company to pay £50 for taking down stable and coach house on Mr Cook’s land.
Mr William Franklin to build a strong stone bridge at Dudbridge with rag stone for the foundation to the water edge and above, good weather stone.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 5^th Day of February 1778
Present: Joseph Wathen, Robert Ellis, Thomas Bayliss, Freame Arundell, John Hollings, Benjamin Grazebrook.

The Conveyance not received from M^r Reddall.
M^r Kings Acc^t of Damages deffered to a future Consideration.
M^ Hollings Reported that he had waited on Henry Wyatt Esq^r and has agreed with him for so much of his Land as wil lbe wanted for the Navigation at the Rate of 40^s per Acre and thirty fived Years purchase. ~~ Ordered that M^r Hollings & M^ B: Grazebroook be desired to wait on him and Settle with him on the above mentioned terms.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook be desired to Sett a man to Drain the Wharf at Chippenhams Platt.
Oredered that Ragg Stone be procured from Rodborough Hill for the Foundation of the Culvert at the Ryeford.
Agreed with Mess^rs Cook & Hawker Executors of the late M^r Richard Cook that the Company do pay to the s^d Executors the sum of £50 for taking down and removing the Stable and Coach Hose and the Consideration of the Lease being given up between Mess^rs John & Samuel Webb & the late M^r Richard Cooke over and above the purchase money agreed for the Land.
Agreed with M^r William Franklin to Build a Strong Stone Bridge at Dudbridge with Rag Stone for the Foundation to the water edge and above with good Weather Stone of good Range work, upon the plan he has given in; to find Stone, Halling, Sand and making the Mortar the Company only to deliver the Lime, for the sum of Two Hundred pounds ~~ an Article to be executed at the next meeting.
Ordered that if we have not an answer from M^r Dadford relating to M^r Clews by the 9^th Instant, that M^r Smith be sent to M^r Dadford on Tuesday next to inquire what he has done in regard to him and when may expect him here; and also in regard to Thomas Edwards Brick maker at Stourport.
Adjourned this meeting to Thursday the 12^th Instant at 4 o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
