Summary

Mr Grazebrook to demand payment from Sam Stephens and Sam Collins for the wharfage of coals landed on the wharf at Bristol Road.
Bit of land between the new road at Ryeford and Thomas Hitch’s garden be taken for a wharf.
No vessel to be permitted to pass the bridge at Ryeford except for the purpose of the works.
Part of the coping was thrown off Moor Street Bridge on Wednesday 27 January. A reward is offered of 10 guineas to be paid on conviction of the offender.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 4^th day of Feb^ry 1779
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas Baylis, John Hollings, Anthony Keck, Freame Arundell, Ben^m Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Ordered that Mess^rs Bough & Edge Account of Stone and Brick work be produced as soon as possible.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do settle with M^r Kidman for his Damages.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do waite on M^r Hill on the Subject of his Letter to M^r Winchcombe, and propose five Guinea to be expended in any form he shall think proper for his accomadation.
M^r Grazebrook Reported that he has paid M^r Thomas Ellis for Barn Orchard, and the Conveyances are Executed.
Ordered that the Island at Easton be prepared to have the Quick Planted for a Mound as soon as Possible.
Order that M^B Grazebrook do make demand of M^r Sam^l Stephens, and also M^r Sam^l Collins for the Wharfage of Coals landed on our Wharfs at the Bristol Road
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do employ a proper Person to Levell the Banks, and prepare them to be sown with proper Seeds.
Ordered that the Bill of Land situate between the new Road at Ryford and the Garden Occupied by Thomas Hitch be taken for a Wharf, and that the same be measured with the Land taken in the Canal and Towing Path. Also as much of that Corner piece of Arable Land adjoining to the old Road leading to Stanley, as we can take under the powers of the Act of Parliament.
Ordered that no Vessell be permitted to pass the Bridge at Ryford except for the purpose of the works.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do procure as many Aberthaw Pebles as possible he can.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds.
Our Clerk Reported that a part of the Coping was thrown off Moorstreet Bridge on Wednesday Night the 27^th January. Ordered that an advertisement be inserted in the next Glocester Journal offering a Reward of Ten Guineas to be paid on Conviction of the Offender or Offenders, an Accomplice making a discovery shall be entitled to the same Reward and a Pardon.
Ordered that Mess^rs Hollings and Grazebrook be desired to waite on M^r Sam^l Noble and Mark out the Land on the side of the Lowere Meadow, straight from the stile, in order to widen the Wharf.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 18^th Instant at five o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
