Summary

3s a ton be paid for all coals, corn malt, grain or meal and 4s a ton for all other goods, wares or merchandise, which shall be imported to Wallbridge, and also in proportion for any greater or less weight or for a less distance of place.
1s 6d per ton be paid for all corn and grain exported from Wallbridge.
30 bushels of wheat, bean or vatches, 40 bushels of barley, 50 bushels of malt or oats shall be deemed as one ton.
Advertisement to be placed in Gloucester Journal announcing date of opening, and letters to be sent to all Proprietors desiring attendance at Stround that day.
A barge be provided for the use of the Company by the time the canal is open to Wallbridge.
The canal be made to pass over Ebley Mill pond by means of wood trunks in the same manner as that already executed at Lodgemore.

April 1 1779. The Proceedings of the Proprietors at large, Continued.
Ordered that three Shillings per Ton be paid for all Coals, Corn, Malt, Grain or Meal and four Shillings per Ton for all other Goods Wares or Merchandise which shall be Imported to Walbridge; and so in proportion for any greater or less weight, or for a less distance of place.
Ordered that One Shilling and Sixpence per Ton be paid for all Corn and Grain Exported from Walbridge and so in proportion for any greater of less weight of for a less distance of place. And for the better Assertaining of the Tonnage of Grain We do hereby Order that 30 Bushells of Wheat, Beans or Vatches, 40 Bushells of Barley, 50 Bushells of Malt or Oats shall be deem'd as one Ton.
Ordered that Public Notice be inserted in the Glocester Journal off the Day when the Navigation will be opened to Walbridge and that Circular Letters be wrote to all the Proprietors to desire their attendance at Stroud on that Day, such Notice to be given at least a fortnight previous to that time and that the Conduct of the Business of that day be left to the Management of the Committee.
Ordered that a Barge be provided for the use of the Company by the time the Canal is open to Walbridge, and that M^r Hayes be desired to apply to a Person for an Estimate of the Expence and send the same as soon as possible to the Committee.
Ordered that the Canal be made to pass over Ebley Mill Pond by means of Wood Trunks of sufficient dimentions in the same manner as that already executed at Lodgmore.
