Summary

B. Grazebrook to apply to Sam Collins for the wharfage of coals landed on the wharf at Bristol Road.
Benjamin Grazebrook to see Ellis James to discuss with him to decide on someone as an arbitrator to help finally settle for the damages done by the banks on his lands.
Clay in the bank at Wallbridge be made into bricks immediately in order that the quay may be levelled.
Mr Keck to be paid £100 on account.

At a Meeting of the Committee held this 8^th day of April at the George Inn in Stroud 1779
Present: William Knight, John Hollings, Fream Arundell, James Dallaway, Thomas Baylis, John Allaway, Thomas White, Ben^m Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Committee Meeting.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do apply to Sam^l Collins for the Wharfage of Coals landed at the Wharf at Bristol Road.
M^r B: Grazebrook Reported that he have settled with Farmer Coaly for all the Damages done the Lands Rented by him.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do waite on M^r Ellis James to desire him to fix on a Man as an Arbitrator to attend with m^r Jn^o Smith to finally settle for the Damages fone by the banck on his Lands and that M^r Allaway be desired to apply to M^r Smith to request his attendance on this Business.
Ordered that the Clay in the Bank at Walbridge be made into Bricks imediately, in order that the Quay may be Levelled.
Ordered that our Clerk do write to M^r Dudley Baxter informing him the Company have a Small Bitt of Land to dispose of adjoining to his Estate, and to know whether he would wish to purchase the same, and also to desire M^r Baxter will furnish M^r Lane with an Abstract of his Title in order that the Conveyance may be drawn of the Land he has sold to the Company.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Five Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that M^r Keck be paid One Hundred Pounds on Account.
Ordered that Mess^rs Lane & Jepsons Bill amounting to the Sum of £42..3..8 be paid.
Ordered that M^r Colbornes Bill amounting to the Sum of £26..6 be paid including the purchase of the Iron Chest.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 22^d Instant at five o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
