Mr Webb does not agree that tax on lands at Wallbridge be rated at £8. John Smith of Painswick to arbitrate.
Ben Pashley to find the timber and workmanship for making two trunks for conveying the Old River under the canal near Lockham Bridge. To be made with seasoned Elm planks 3½ inches thick at the rate of 9d per foot.
Messrs Wathen and White are to wait on Mr Playne to treat with him for the nook of land at the bottom of his garden at Wallbridge necessary for widening the tow path.
The horses and wagon belonging to the Company to be sold by auction.
Mr White the broad wheeled cart at £4 10s.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 10^th of June 1779
Present: Joseph Wathen, James Dallaway, Thomas Baylis, Thomas White, Fream Arundell, Ben^m Grazebrook, John Hollings.

M^r B: Grazebrook Reported that he ahs waited on M^r Webb, and proposed to him that the Meadows at Walbridge be Rated to the Land Tax at £8 per Annum, which Sum M^r Webb does not acede to, but Offers to reffer Settling the same to M^r John Smith of Painswick. Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do apply to M^r Smith and request him to fix the proportion of Land Tax for he said Meadows.
M^r B: Grazebrook Reported that he has inform'e M^r Chance, if he will give it under his Hand to deliver up the bitt of Land adjoining to the Lock at any time when required by the Company, that in such case the Posts and Railes may remain; but M^r Chance refuses to comply with the above Proposal. Ordered that the Railes across the Old Road at Dudbridge be taken down imediately, & continued to be taken down as often as M^r Chance puts them up and that the same be done in the day time.
M^r B: Grazebrook Reported that he has taken a Survey of the Lock in Nass Field, and have given the necessary Orders to have the same Repaired.
Agreed with Ben^m Pashley to find Timber and Workmanship for making two Trunks of such Dimentions as shall be given by M^r Grazebrook for Conveying the Old River under the Canal near Lockham Bridge, to be made with good Seasoned Elm Plank 3½ Inches thick at the Rate of Ninepence per foot Supperficial.
Ordered that Mess^rs Wathen & White be desired to waite on M^r Playne on Monday Morning next (with M^R Grazebrook) to treat with him for the Nook of Land at the Bottom of his Garden at Walbridge necessary for widening the Towing Path.
Ordered that the Horses & Waggon belonging to the Company be advertised to be sold by Auction on Friday the 25^th Instant at the George Inn in Stroud; And that our Clerk do apply to M^r Davis to Sell the same.
M^r White has purchased a Broad Wheel'd Cart for £4..10.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 17th Instant at five o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
