Summary

Proposal from William Franklin for building a wall to mound the wharf at Wallbridge with Ragg stone lying on the premises at 6d per perch.
Thomas Hughes authorised to replace stiles with small gate and rails on towpath between Wallbridge to Mr Eycott’s mill at his own expense.
The clerk is to procure carts to haul earth from the Turnpike Road near Ryeford to widen the road leading over the canal to King’s Stanley.
Tenement adjoining the carpenter’s shop at Framilode to be let to Margaret James for 2 guineas per annum, she to put the tenement in repair.
Copies of letters exchanged with Anthony Keck to be preserved. Messrs Lane and Jepson to be asked to examine contract and letters to determine the lawful methods of obliging Mr Keck to fulfil the contract if they do not hear further by next Tuesday.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 22^d of June 1780
Present: Joseph Wathen, William Knight, John Hollings, Thomas Baylis, James Dallaway, Nathaniel Jones, John Allaway.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order Relative to M^r Butchers Land.
Rece'd a Proposal from W^m Frankling for Building a Wall to Mound the Wharf at Wallbridge with the Ragg Stone lying on the premises at 6^s per Perch. Defferr'd the Consideration of the same to a future Meeting.
Posponed the Consideration of M^r Pashleys Account to a future Meeting.
The Weather not being Proper for Pitching the House were the Pleasure Barge is kept, Ordered that the same be done when the Weather Permitt.
On Application being made to the Committee by M^r Thomas Hughes for leave to erect small Gates and Railes on the Towing Path from Wallbridge to M^r Eycotts Mill (for the accommodation of Persons Walking on said Towing Path) in the room of the Stiles now standing, We do therefore Authorise and empower the said M^r Thomas Hughes or whom he may appoint at his or their own proper Costs and Charges to erect such Gates and Railes with Oak in a substantial manner agreeable to a Plan produced.
Ordered that our Clerk do procure some Carts (not exceeding two Days) to widen the Road leading over the Canal at King Stanly.
Agree'd to let the Tenement adjoining the Carpenters Shop at Framiload to Margarett James at the Rent of Two Guineas per Annum, She to put the said Tenement in Repair and the Company to find Materials for the same.
Ordered that our Clerk do meet M^r Sam^l Clutterbuck at Dudbridge to look at the Bricks there belonging to the Company and Report to Mess^rs Hollings and Dallaway what M^r Clutterbuck will give for the whole Quantity.
Reced three Letters from M^r Anthony Keck relative to the Double Lock, and have wrote him two several Letters in Reply. Ordered that said Letters together with Copys of their answers be preserved.
Ordered that our Clerk do wait on Mess^rs Lane & Jepson on Saturday next and lay before them the Contract entered into with M^r Keck together with all other papers relative thereto, also to desire them to take the Lawfull methods of Oblidging M^r Keck to fullfill the said Contract provided they do not here further by Tuesday Evening next.
M^r Chance Delivered his Account; Posponed the Consideration of the same to a future Meeting.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 11^th of July next at Five o'Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
