Mr Hill made application for a gate between Burry Field and his Rack hill in the road into the lower part of the said field.
Mr Franklin to supply some stone for coping the walls of the swivel bridge in Mr Chances land.
Clerk had to borrow another £100 from bank. It is to be paid back with the first tonnage money received.
At a Meeting of the Committee held on the 16^th day of November 1780 at the George Inn in Stroud.
Present: John Hollings, James Dallaway, Thomas Baylis, Ben^m Grazebrook, Nathaniel Jones.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order relative to M^r Butchers Land.
Continued the Order relative to the Wall for enclosing the Wharf at Wallbridge.
No answer Yet Received from M^r Chance.
M^r Halliday hath not Yet attended the Committee.
Our Clerk Reported that he hath Reced the Deed from M^r Sandford executed by all parties, and the Consideration is paid into the Trustees hands he 14^th Instant. Ordered that the said Deed be lodged in the Treasurers hands.
Our Clerk Reported that M^r Hill hath made application for a Gate to be erected between Burry Field and his Rack hill in the Road leading into the lower part of the said Field. Ordered that our Clerk do inform M^r Hill that as we have settled all affairs with M^r Ball we imaging the said Gate is included, but that We will allow half a Guinea towards the same.
Ordered that M^r Franklin do provide some Stone for Coping the Walls of the Swivell Bridge on M^r Chances Land.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Three hundred Twenty four pounds five Shillings and Nine Pence halfpenny.
Our Clerk Reported that he was under the necessity of Borrowing £100 of the Bank in order to make up the Sum for payment of M^r Phillips Land. Ordered that the same be paid with Interest out of the first Tonnage Money that is Rece'd.
