Agreed to let the ‘bottoming‘ of the old pond at Whitminster to John Pickston for 3d per yard, he to find the barrows, planks and every utensil for doing the same.
The clerk procure a drag net for fishing the canal.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 29^th of March 1781
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas White, John Hollings, Thomas Baylis, James Dallaway, John Allaway, Fream Arundell, Ben^m Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order relative to M^R Butchers Land.
Continued the Order relative to the Wall for enclosing the Wharf at Wallbridge.
M^r Halliday being Ill prevented his attendance.
M^r Merrett hath not yet been able to finish the Plan of the Canal.
M^r William KIng hath not attended the Committee.
The Boats are now Repairing agreeable to the Order of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order relative to the Wear for taking the water from the Stonehouse Levell.
Ordere that M^r Howells Account be settled agreeable to his Contract and the Ballance paid him.
Agreed to lett the Bottoming of the Old Pond at Whitmister to John Pickston for 3^d per Yard, he to find Barrows, Planks, and every necessary Utensill for doing the same.
Ordered that our Clerk do procure a Dragg Nett for fishing the Canal.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 5^th of April next at Ten o'clock in the Morning at the George Inn in Stroud.
