Stanks were made secure at Whitminster
Stonework of the flood gates at Lodgemore completed.
At a Meeting of the Committee held this 12^th Day of November 1782 at the George Inn in Stroud.
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas Baylis, John Hollings, Richard Bigland, James Dallaway, Nathaniel Jones, Fream Arundell.

Our Clerk Reported that the proper Stanks are made to prevent the water running from the Rien into the Canal at Whitmister.
The Stone work of the Flood Gates at Lodgemore is compleated.
Our Clerk Reported that he hath wrote to M^r Peach agreeable to the order of last Meeting. Read a Letter from M^r Peach in Reply, wherein he still proposes to appoint a Refference at Whitmister; Ordered that our Clerk do inform M^r Peach that we do not conceive anything has arisen since the determination of the Commissioners, as matter for arbitration; That we wish to let it rest until he is in the Country, when we will meet him on the Business.
Ordered that John Davis be employed to fence the Bason near Walbridge with Oak Posts and a single Rail, likewise to Fence the Culvert at Lodgemore.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 12^th of December next at five o'Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
