Reverend John Pettat has applied to have the water drained from Stonehouse Churchyard. The Company would try ot procure leave to cut a drain across the adjoining land to drain the Churchyard.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 27^th of March 1783
Present: John Hollings, Nathaniel Winchcombe, James Dallaway, Thomas Baylis, Nathaniel Jones.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
M^r James's Business is not yet settled.
No Letter yed Rece'd from M^r Cambidge.
Rece'd a Letter from M^r Peach aquainting us that he shall soon be at Rooksmore, and wishes to be inform'd when it will be most convenient to talk over his affair with the Company. Ordered that our Clerk do inform M^r Peach, that if he will let him know the time when he is in the Country, the Committee will appoint a Meeting at Stroud on the Business.
Our Clerk Reported that the Rev^d M^r John Pettat has applied to have the water drained from Stonehouse Church Yard. Ordered that our Clerk do inform M^r Pettat that we will endeavour to procure leave to cut a drain across the adjoining land in order to drain the said Church Yard.
Adjourned this Meeting to Tuesday the 8^th of April next at Ten o'Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
