Summary

Committee agreed with Benjamin Grazebrook and Co for the tonnage and wharfage of all goods, wares and merchandise, which shall be carried in the Bristol and Gloucester barges for 6 months for £50.
A grass weir be made to take off flood water at Chippenham Platt.

At a Meeting of the Committee held at the George Inn in Stroud on Tuesday the 15^th of April 1783
Present: Joseph Wathen, Fream Arundell, John Hollings, Thomas Baylis, James Dallaway, Ben^m Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last General and Committee Meetings.
The Business with M^r James is not yet settled.
No Letter Rece'd from M^r Cambridge.
M^r Peach attended the Committee but nothing decisive was settled.
In conformity to the Order of the last General Meeting We have agree'd with Ban^m Grazebrook for the Tonnage and Wharfage of all Goods Wares and Merchandise which shall be carried in the Bristol and Glocester Barges for Six Months from the 8^th Instance at the Sum of Fifty Pounds.
Ordered that the necessary Repairs to the Brick and Stone work be immediately attended to; and also that a Grass Wear be made to take off the superfluous waer in a Flood time at Chippenhams Platt.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 20^th of May next at five o'Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
