Summary

Brick and stonework repairs now in hand.
The catch pool in little Harry’s Acre on the upper side of the canal to be cleared of mud to prevent it running into the canal.
Mud to be cleared out the canal near Lodgemore on Friday next and a person appointed to watch the fish during the time the water is out.
Our clerk to issue tickets at 10s each to fish in the canal for one year from the date thereof. Any Proprietor and son is allowed to fish without a ticket.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Tuesday the 20^th May 1783
Present: Joseph Wathen, Fream Arundell, John Hollings, Thomas Baylis, James Dallaway, John Allaway, Ben^m Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
M^r James's Busines is not Yet Settled.
No Letter Received from M^r Cambridge.
The Repairs of the Brick and Stone work are going on agreeable to the order of the last Meeting.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Eleven Hundred & Eighty two Pounds Seven Shillings and Nine Pence for the use of the Navigation.
Ordered that the Expences of the Gentlemen who attended during the passing of the new Bill in Parliament, be discharged when in Cash.
Ordered that the Catch Pool in little Harry's Acre on the upper side of the Canal, be cleared of the Mud, in order to prevent the same from running into the Canal.
Ordered that the Mud be cleared out of the Canal near Lodgemore and that the same be set about on Friday next, in case the Weather continues fair. Also that a Person be appointed to watch the Fish during the time the water is out.
Ordered that Notice be given the Tennants of Lands who are in arrear; that in case their Rent is not immeadiately paid up to Lady Day that a seizer will be made for the same.
Ordered that our Clerk do Isue out Ticketts at 10^s/ each to all Creditable People making application, who are non Proprietors, Authorising the Person named in the said Tickett to Angle in the Canal for one Year from the Date thereof. And that any Proprietor or one of his Sons be permitted to Angle at any time without interuption.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 29^th Instant at Nine O' Clock in the forenoon at the new Inn in Framiload.
