Summary

The towing path in the level below Bristol Road be raised to stop water flowing from the meadows into the canal and the earth for raising the path be taken from the bank at Whitminster Mill Pond.
The corner of the Crib on the lower side of the lock at Framilode to be repaired.
The Catch Pool leading from Stonehouse Cross into the canal be cleared of the mud and enquire of the owner if he should want the soil so dredged.
A cargo of Aberthaw pebbles to be procured for lime.
Leaks in the bank between the canal and the old river at Ebley be repaired.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the New Inn in Framiload on Thursday the 29^th of May 1783
Present: Jos: Wathen, Thomas Baylis, John Hollings, John Allaway, James Dallaway, Ben^m Grazebrook, Fream Arundell.
Read the minutes of the last Meeting.
M^r James's Business is not Yet Settled.
No Letter yet Rece'd from M^r Cambridge.
Continued the order for clearing the Mud out of the Catch Pool in little Harry's Acre.
The Canal is cleared of the Mud at Lodgemore.
Notice has been given to the Tennants who are in arrear, agreeable to the order of last Meeting.
Ordered that the Towing Path in the Levell below Bristol Road be raised in order to prevent the water flowing from the Meadows into the Canal and that the Earth for raising the same be taken from the Bank at Whitmister Mill Pond.
Ordered that the Corner of the Cribe on the lower side of the Lock at Framiload be repaired.
Ordered that the Catch Pool leading from Stonehouse Cross into the Canal be cleared of the Mud and that our clerk do inform the Occupier of the Land of our intention to clear the same, and know if he will take the soil, or wether the Company shall carry away the same.
Ordered that a Cargo of Aberthaw Pebles be procured for Lime.
Ordered that Joh Archoll have Notice given him that from Lady Day next he must pay all Taxes (over and above the present Rent) for the Land he occupies, or quit the same.
Ordered that the Leaks in the Bank between the Canal and the Old River at Ebley be Repaired.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 8^th of July next at five o'Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
