John Mossley having agreed to pay half a guinea plus our costs the clerk is to write to our solictors to stop the proceedings.
Mr Organ attended the meeting on behalf of Richard Owen Cambridge and reported a leak from the canal at Whitminster which has damaged a meadow and Mr Cambridge expected the damage to be settled and likewise to have the rien ditch opened into the canal. The committee to decide what should be done.

M^r James's Business is not Yet Settled.
M^r Jennings attended on behalf --of his Nephew-- M^r John Mossley, to beg the Committee to put a stop to the proceedings going on against him for fishing in the Canal, he having made Concessions and agree'd to pay the expence incurr'd and likewise half a Guinea to the Person who made the information; Ordered that the proceedings be stoped, and that our Clerk do write ot Mess^rs Lane & Jepson for that purpose.
The Leakage at the Ryford is stoped agreeable to the Order of last Meeting.
Rece'd a Letter from M^r Stock dated the 9^th September desiring to have the price of the several Bitts of Land at Framiload. Our Clerk Reported that he immediately sent M^r Stock the price as fix'd by the Committee, but have not Yet Rece'd any answer.
Ordered that M^r Franklins Bill for Repairs of the Brick and Stone Work upon the Canal, amounting to £16:12:9 be discharged.
M^r Organ attended on behalf of Rich^d Owen Cambridge Esq^r and Reported that there is a Leakage from the Canal at Whitmister which has Damaged a Meadow there, and that M^r Cambridge expects the Damages to be settled, and likewise to have the Rien Ditch opened into the Canal. ~~ Agree'd that the Committee do take a view of the same, and consider what is Necessary to be done.
Adjourned this Meeting to Tuesday the 14^th Instant at Ten o'Clock in the forenoon at the Swan Inn in Stroud.
