Summary

Clerk has paid Mr Stock whole of Mr Ellis James's damages agreeable to inquisition made by Jury.
Edward Keen's timber to be seized for £15 for rent due at Lady Day. Application for longer time, sale of timber postponed to Wednesday 9 June.
Mr Turner given notice to turn water which runs down road from Cainscross.
Mr Mosley, now of age, applied for payment for his land at Dudbridge.
Mud on canal at Framilode between lock and stop gate to be cleared.
3d per ton for all weights under two ton and 6d per ton for any greater weight for cranage at Wallbridge. Thames & Severn Canal to pay monthly, others immediately.
Plan and estimate for a lock house at the Double Lock to be prepared.

At a Meeting of the Committee of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held on Board the Company's Barge on Monday the 31^st of May 1794
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas White, John Hollings, Ben^n Grazebrook, Thomas Baylis, Fream Arundell.
Read the Minutes of the last Meetings.
Our Clerk Reported that he has paid M^r Stock the whole of M^r Ellis James's Damages agreeable to the Inquisition made by the Jury.
Our Clerk Reported that he has made a Seizer of the Timber of Edward Keene;s for the sum of Fifteen Pounds for Rent due at Lady Day last ~~ but on his making application for a longer time, Ordered that the sale of the s^d Timber be postponed to Wednesday the 9^th of June next & in case the s^d Rent is not paid by that time that the same be sold.
Ordered that the Ballance of Mess^rs Lane & Jepsons Account be discharged.
Our Clerk Reported that he has given M^r Turner Notice to turn the water which runs down the Road from Cainscross, which he has promised shall be done.
M^r Mosley being now of Age has applied for payment of the money for his Land at Dudbridge. Ordered that our Clerk do pay the same upon his executing proper conveyances.
Ordered that the Mud in the Canal at Framiload between the Lock & the Stop Gate be cleared at the first opportunity.
Ordered that 3^d per Ton for all weights under two Ton and 6^d per Ton for any greater weight be paid for Cranage at Walbridge and that the same be received of the Thames & Severn Canal Company once every month & of all other Persons immediately.
Ordered that a Plan and Estimate for a Lock House at the Double Lock be prepared against the next Meeting.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Nine hundred and forty one Pounds fifteen Shillings & fourpence for the use of the Navigation.
Ordered that the Company's Barge be greaved the first time a proper Person can be procured for that purpose.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Saturday the 24^th of July next at Six O'Clock in the Evening at the George Inn at Stroud,
