Summary

Messrs Lane and Jepson brought an ejectment against Mr Knight for possession of Little Harry's Acre. Company not to pay any part of suit.
When any land is sold or exchanged by Company, a clause to be inserted to prevent proprietor calling on Company to fence off towing path through same.
In conveyance of Little Harry's Acre a Right of Road is to be preserved for Mr Turner, Mr Stephens, Mr Hogg and their successors.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn at Stroud on Saturday the 24^th of July 1784
Present: Joseph Wathen, John Hollings, Nathaniel Jones, Thomas Baylis, Ben^n Grazebrook, Thomas White.
Postponed Reading the Minutes of the last meeting to a future Day.
Mess^rs Lane & Jepson Reported to us that they have brought an Ejectment against M^r Knight for recovering the posession of little Harry's Acre and that the same will be brought to an Isue at the ensuing Assizes.
Resolved that we are willing to fulfill the agreement with M^r Knight, as we have ever been disposed so to do ~~ therefore we cannot agree to pay any part of the Expence occasioned by this Suit.
Resolved that when any Land shall be sold or exchanged by the Company, that a Clause be inserted to prevent the Proprietor thereof from calling upon us to fence off the Towing path through the same.
Resolved that in the Conveyance of Little Harry's Acre a Right of Road be preserved for M^r Turner, M^r Stephens, M^r Hogg and their Successors ~~ inconsequence of which, if M^r Knight or his Agent will agree to settle the matter in dispute conformable with these Resolutions Mess^rs Wathern & Hollings are requested to meet them for that purpose.
Adjourned this Meeting to Tuesday the 17^th of August next at five O'Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn at Stroud.
