At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the Swan in Stroud on Thursday the 28^th of April 1785
Present: John Hollings, Ben^n Grazebrook, James Dallaway, Nathaniel Jones, Thomas White.
It having been represented to us that no Clause whatsoever will be inserted in the Bill now depending in Parliament for making the Abingdon Canal that may affect our Interest and having prepared a Paper as a precaution, Resolved that the Seal of the Company be now affixed to the Petition in favor of such Canal and that M^r Thomas White do deliver the same to M^r Chambers on his signing such paper and not otherwise.
Adjourned this Meeting to Wednesday the 1^st of June next at Nine O'Clock in the morning on board the Companys Barge at Walbridge.
