At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held this 8^th day of October 1787 at the George in Stroud
Present: Nathaniel Winchcombe, Ben^n Grazebrook, John Hollings, Thomas Arundell, John Colborne.

M^r John Colborne attended on behalf of Joshua Powell Hooper, Thomas Easton Distiller, Samuel Edwards Distiller, Peter Clissold & Mary Clissold all of the City of Bristol and made out their Claims to two Shares No 186 &187 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the property of John Clissold of the City of Bristol aforesaid Distiller deceased, by producing the Probate of the Will of the said John Clissold bearing date he 27 October 1783 and duly proved in the Perogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury whereby his Personal Estate is given to the said Joshua Powell Hooper, Thomas Easton, Samuel Edwards & Peter Clissold their Executors and Administrators upon the Trusts therein mentioned and did thereby nominate and appoint his Wife the said Mary Clissold Sole Executrix whereby the said Trustees and Executrix are become Intitled to the said two Shares and their Claim is hereby admitted accordingly.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 9^th of October Instant at Ten O'Clock in the forenoon at the George in Stroud.
