No answer from Mr Keck respecting account for repair of Double Lock. Letter from Mr Keck for General Meeting.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Monday the 11^th of October 1790
Present: William Battersby, John Allaway, Joseph Harford, Henry Burgh, John Hollings, Jos^h Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that he has paid M^r Sam^l King the amount of Damages as agreeable to the Order of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that the Lock above Chippenhams Platt is now repaired.
No answer rec'd from M^r Keck respecting settling the Account for the Repair of the Double Lock except a Letter this day receiv'd per our Clerk which M^r Keck desires him to lay before the General Meeting to Morrow.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred & ninety three Pounds, seventeen Shillings & ten pence for he use of the Navigation.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 12^th Ins^t at Eleven o'Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
