Summary

William Beard purchased at Lydney 36tons 15cwt of Forest coals, but very bad and no more to be got.
James Wall to give Committee his proposals for enclosing wharf at Dudbridge.
William Beard reported that Mr Purnell of Dursley purchased lands, late Earl of Warwick's, on which crib stands above Framilode lock. Clerk to advise him of damage to vessels and request him to raise crib above high water mark

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Monday the 16^th of Jan^y 1792
Present: Nathaniel Winchcombe, Benj^n Grazebrook, John Hollings, Jos^h Grazebrook, Henry Burgh.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Ordered that our Clerk do continue to procure as many Coals as possible he can on both Wharfts on the best terms.
Will^m Board reported that he purchased at Lidney 36^Ton..15^Cw of Forest Coal but they were very bad and no more to be got.
Our Clerk reported that he has paid the Executors of San^l Smith Esq^r as ordered at the last Meeting.
Ordered that our Clerk do apply to James Wall to meet the Committee on Fryday next in order to give in his proposals for enclosing the Wharf at Dudbridge.
WIll^m Beard having reported that M^r Purnell of Dursley has purchased the Lands, late the Earl of Warwickc, whereon the Crib stands above Framiload Lock, Ordered that our Clerk do wait on him and represent to him the Damages that have happened to the said Crib to Vessells coming down to the Stroudwaster Canal and request that he will raise the same above high water Mark to prevent future Injuries, and that W^m Beard do attend to explain the same to M^r Purnell.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Monday the fifth day of March next at twelve o Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
