At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Tuesday the 22^nd Octo^r 1793
Present: John Allaway, Jos^h Grazebrook, Will^m Sevill, Benj^n Grazebrook, Henry Burgh, Rich^d Pettat.
Read the Minutes of the last Committee and General Meetings.
The order of the last Committee Meeting respecting the Drains, not being completed, Ordered that our Clerk do immediately give the Notice as directed.
Our Clerk reported that he has given Notice to the Workmen, not to proceed in the Warehouse at Framiload till further Orders.
Ordered that Mess^rs Freebury, Grazebrook, and Smith be desired to purchase a Barge as agreed at the General Meeting for the purpose of bringing Coals to the different Wharfs on the Navigation and that the said Barge be under the direction of the Coal Committee for the time being.
Ordered that a Shed as agreed at the General Meeting be erected at the right hand side of the Gates at Walbridge and the present Wall be extended one Yard further and that our Clerk do proceed to have it done as fast as possible.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 3^rd of Dec^r next at twelve o'Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
