Orders for erection of a board for regulation of vessels and for continuation of wall at Dudbridge in execution.
Clerk to pay £7 8s 4d to Mr Samuel Stevens for tonnage.
Lighter purchased for £30.
Nook of land separated from that sold to Mr Chance and taken into wharf at Dudbridge let to Mr Thomas Grazebrook. Rent £1 1s.
Fishing tackle for use of canal to be provided.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn Stroud on Wednesday the 22^nd of April 1795
Present: Sam^l Wathen, Jn^o Allaway, Benj^n Grazebrook, Rev^d Will^m Ellis, Jos^h Grazebrook, Rowles Scudamore.
Read the Minutes of the last two Committee & General Meetings.
The Drafts of the Sundry Conveyances of Land being produced, Ordered that our Clerk do convey them to our Solicitors for their Inspection, together with the Original Deeds, and Conditions of Sale.
Ore Clerk reported that the Order for the erection of a Board for the regulation of Vessells, and also for the Continuation of the Wall at Dudbridge are in execution.
Ordered that our Clerk do pay M^r Sam^l Stevens the Sum of £7..8^s..4^d for Tonnage as agreed at the last General Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that a Lighter has been purchased agreeable to the Order of the General Meeting at the price of £30.
Ordered that a nook of Land separated from that sold to M^r Chance and taken into the Wharf at Dudbridge be let to M^r Thomas Grazebrook at the rent of 1^£..5^s per Year.
Jn^o Pashley not having attended this Meeting, Ordered that he do attend the next Committee Meeting.
Ordered that new Fishing Tackle for the use of the Canal, be provided as the old are worn out.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 30^th Inst^t at 12 o Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn Stroud.
