At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 17^th of December 1795
Present: Rev^d W^m Ellis, Jos^h Grazebrook, Benj^n Grazebrook, Rowles Scudamore, Jn^o Allaway, Sam^l Smith.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the order respecting M^r Cookes Drain.
M^r Franklin attended and produced Plans and an Estimate for a House at Walbridge. Agreed with him to compleat the Masonry Work, Plasterers Work and Tylers Work for the same, upon the Terms mentioned in said Estimate, and to compleat the same on or before the 30^th of June next.
Ordered that the Companys Carpenters do prepare the Timber Work for the same under the direction of M^r Franklin.
Continued the order respecting the Waste Water at M^r Hoggs also the order for a Pair of Gates at Dudbridge Wharf.
Ordered that the Clay taken from the Bason at Framiload be made into Brick, when the Severn admits.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 28^th of Jan^y nest at 12 o'Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
