At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Monday the 7^th of April 1800
Present: Rev^d W^m Ellis, Benj^n Grazebrook, Rev^d J Colborne, Jos^h Grazebrook, Sam^l Wathen, Rowles Scudamore, J I Wathen, Ew^d Wood, Nath^l Wathen, Nath^l Jones, John Allaway.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order respecting the Warehouse at Bristol Road.
A demand having been made on the Company for Tythe on the Land taken up by the Canal and Towing Path in the Parish of Frampton at the rate of 2^s/8^d per Annum, for fourteen Years due S^t Thomas Day 1798, Ordered that our Clerk do forthwith discharge such Bill.
An Application has been made on the part of the Thames & Severn Canal Company for a Licence to use certain parts of our Wharf at Framiload for Stacking Newport Coals thereon. The Consideration of this Proposal is adjourned, and no Contract can be satisfactory made, untill a View of the Wharf has been taken.
Ordered that a Bill on the Treasurer be drawn for the Sum of Two Hundred & Ninety two Pounds, seventeen Shilling & six pence for the Use of the Navigation.
