Claims for 20 shares from three parties rejected for insufficient evidence.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 10th day of December 1848
Present: M^r Hen^y Sikes, M^r Geo H A Beard, Jn^o Holbrow, Rich^d Martin, Will^m Fryer, Fred^k Eycott, J H Warman, Cha^s Hooper, T C Croome Chairman.
M^r Cha^s Hawker attended on behalf of the Executors of M^rs Catherine Williams to claim one Share. M^R Thomas Clutterbuck Croome attended on behalf of the Executor and Executrix of M^r Nathaniel Edgecombe to claim one Shae. M^r Cha^s Edward Ward atttended on behalf of the Executrix and Executors of the late M^r Thomas Jones to claim Nine Shares and M^r Joseph Cripps one of the Executors of the late M^r Richard Hawker attended on behalf of himself and his CoExecutor to claim Ten Shares in this Navigation, but the parties respectively not being prepared with the requisite evidence the said Claims were after much discussion postponed.
