Inspection of Navigation to take place on 31 July.
Meeting with Thames & Severn Canal Co re reduction of tonnage to Cirencester to take place on 25 July.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday teh 17th day of July 1850
Present: M^r Hen^y Sikes, Jn^o H Warman, Fred^k Eycott, Hen^y Beard, Will^m Fryer Chairman, T C Croome.
Resolved that M^r Marlings application about the Gates under the Railway Bridge at Stonehouse be postponed to the next Meeting and the M^r Croome be deputed to confer with M^r Marling thereon.
M^r Hawker reported that he had not received any answer from the Engineer to the Railway Company to the letter writted by M^r Fisher at the last Meeting.
Resolved that the Annual Tour of Inspection of the Navigation do take place on Wednesday the 31st Ins^t and that M^r Hawker call a Meeting of the Committee on that day at 10 O'Clock to be held on board the Company's Boat at Dudbridge.
Resolved that M^r Hawker call a Special Meeting of the Committee for Thursday the 25th Ins^T at 12 O'Clock at this place to meet the Committee of the Thames & Severn Canal Company and to confer with them relative to a reduction of Tonnage on Coals carried to Cirencester and on other matters connected with the Interests of the two Companies.
Ordered that the following Bills and Accounts be paid:
