Special Meeting of Committee.
Meeting proposed on 7 May to take place at 20 Lombard Street, London. Mr Hawker to attend with Committee.
At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 14th day of May 1851
Present: M^r Jn^o H Warman, M^r Rich^d Martin, Tho^s C Croome, Fred^k Eycott, Will^m Fryer, Cha^s Hooler, G H A Beard, Cha^s H Fisher, Hen^y Harris Chairman.
This Meeting was called in consequence of a communication from M^r Willson who stated that he had received a letter from M^r Richards fixing that the Meeting proposed between this Committee and the Committee of the Thames & Severn Canal Company should take place tomorrow at 1 O'Clock and M^r Wilson having stated his views of a proper arrangement that matter was fully taken into consideration and discussed and this Meeting was adjourned to the proposed conference at N^o 20 Lombard Street in London in order to discuss the matter with the Committee of the Thames and Severn Canal Company and M^r Hawker is requested to attend the Meeting with the Committee.
