Summary

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 25th day of April 1854
Present: M^r J H Warman, M^r G H A Beard Chairman, Fred Eycott, W^m Fryer, H^y Harris, Cha^s Hooper, Rich^d Martin, T C Croome.
The various Accounts Books and Vouchers signed by M^r Cooper the Auditor & certified to be correct were produced and examined.
The Treasurers Book was produced examined & signed.
Ordered that the Saul Inclosure Act & Award be inspected in order to see if the Road over the Gallows Bridge be not legally stopped.
A resolution of the Gas Company was read consenting to the removal by this Company of the Pillar of the Boundary Wall between the Gas Works & Lodgemore four feet further from the Canal on condition that no obstruction then be offered to the Passage of Carts in front of the Building to the Lime Shed belonging to the Gas Works.
Ordered that the said Pillar be removed accordingly and that this Company will not offer any obstruction to the Passage of Carts mentioned in the resolution of the Gas Company on the same Company continuing to abide the conditions contained in the Lease from this Company to the Trustees of the said Gas Company.
Ordered that M^r Driver do take the needful measures for getting the Crane at Dudbridge repaired.
Ordered that in future Good Friday be excluded from the calculation of time that Barges be in the Dock for Repair and that 2^s/6^d be returned to M^r Ja^s Nurse for the last Good Friday which he has paid to this Company.
