Mr Driver stated that in altering Walk Bridge, a proper wall would be needed to contract the present water tray by 2 feet. Mr Driver to take measures for altering bridge.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 14 day of November 1855
Present: M^r C Hawker, M^r W^m Fryer Chairman, F Eycott. G H A Beard, J H Warman, H^y Harris, R^d Martin, T C Croome.
M^r Driver attended & explained that it was needful in altering the Walk Bridge to contract the present water way by two feet and that it could be only done substantially be a proper wall. Ordered that M^r Driver do take measures for altering the Bridge effectually & substantially according to the resolutions of the last General Meeting and do make the requisite communication to M^r Wilton & to the Manages of the Gloster & Berkeley Canal Company as to the stoppage of the Canal & otherwise.
Ordered that the following Bills & accounts be paid:

G Nurse for Tar: 1..1..-
W Hobbs Smith's Work: 2..4..6
J Andrews Repairs: -..10..7
and that Fred^k Nurse's Bill of £12..4..9 be allowed against his A/c for Tonnage.
