Mr Phipson’s opinion as to Company’s rights in relation to bridge at Ebley read. To be considered at a special general meeting on 22 July.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 1^st day of July 1857
Present: M^r Cha^s Hawker, M^r R^d Martin Chairman, J H Warman, N S Marling, T C Croome, H Harris, F Eycott, G H A Beard, C Hooper.
The Case stated pursuant to the resolution of the Meeting of the Committee of the 20^th May last with M^r Phipson's Opinion thereon was read.
Resolved that a Special General Meeting of the Proprietors be held on Wednesday teh 22^d day of July instant at the Canal Office Wallbridge at 12 O'Clock at noon pursuant to the resolutions of the last General Meeting and for general business.
Resolved that M^r Partridge advertize the Meeting in the usual way.
Resolved that M^r Hakwer and M^r Fryer be requested to assist M^r Partridge in making the calculation and return for Property and Income Tax.
