At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 17^th day of March 1858
Present: M^r J H Warman, M^r W^m Fryer Chairman, F Eycott, T C Croome, N S Marling, H^y Harris, C Hawker, C Hooper.
Questions as to the mode of using the Wharves of the Company having arisen,
It was resolved that M^r Fryer and M^r Hawker as to Wallbridge Wharf, M^r Warman and M^r Harris as to Dudbridge Whard and M^r Marling and M^r Hoopper as to Stonehouse Wharf be requested to direct the Wharfingers as to the use of the Wharves by the several parties using them.
M^r Edward Carruthers Little of Stroud in the County of Glouceser Solicito attended on behalf of himself and of M^r Anthony Holbrow of Stonehouse in the aforesaid County Surgeon and made out their Claim as Executors of hte Will of the late Peter Drew of Ebley in the aforesaid County Gentleman to one Share numbered 89 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation lately belonging to and now standing in the name of the said Peter Drew in the books of the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation by producing the Probate of the Will of the said P Drew deceased bearing date the 18^th day of August 1857 and proved in the Consistory Court of Gloucester on the 2^d day of January 1858 by the said Edward Carruthers Little & Anthony Holbrow and also producing the Ticket or title to the said Share and the claim was accordingly admitted and a new Ticket ordered to be made out.
Resolved that the following sums be be paid viz:
M^r Partridge 1 Quarter's Salary due 25^th Ins't: 30..0..0
Driver 1 Quarter's Salary due 25^th Ins't: 20..0..0
E Cooper ½ year Salary: 7..17..6
J Burbidge 2 Months due 20^th Ins't: 10^£

Resolved that the next monthly Meeting of the Committee be held on the 23^d Ins't at 2 o'Clock and the Half Yearly General Meeting on the same day at 3 O'Clock and that M^r Partridbe publish notices accordingly in the usual way.
Ordered that Mess^rs Beman & C^o send 3 dozen Sherry Wine.
