Sundry coals, wheat and flour carried from Ryeford Mills to Dudbridge without account rendered by Messrs. Ford. Clerk to apply for a return of all coals, wheat, flour carried since 7 May 1860 to present time.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Thursday the 24^th day of April 1862
Present: M^r G H A Beard Chairman, M^r Hooper, M^r Hawker, M^r Warman, M^r Harris, M^r WIlton.
The various accounts Books and Vouchers signed by M^r Cooper the Auditor and certified to be correct were produced and examined.
The Treasurers Book was produced examined and signed.
The Committee have discovered that Sundry Coals Wheat and Flour had been carried from Ryeford Mills to Dudbridge without any Account of the same being rendered by Mess^rs Ford. Ordered that the Clerk apply to them for a return of all Coals Wheat flour, etc, so carried since 7 May 1860 to the present time.
M^r Partridge having paid £32.16..3 for a quarters Income Tax due 20 March last and produced a Voucher for it the payment was sanctioned by the Committee.
