Summary

Warehouse stable and oak coal pen at wharf at Bristol Road purchased by Mr King from Mr Critchley to be deemed removeable.
No vessel allowed to pass through any lock in canal after sunset and before sunrise without a special pass, costing 1s, and without having a good light at head of vessel and being attended by lock keeper. Clerk to inform all holders of night passes.
Clerk to ascertain penalty incurred by H. Nurse in entering canal at Framilode, departing against order of lock keeper, having no ticket and paying no tonnage.
No person allowed to take vessel to their land or yard from canal for repair or any other purpose without payment of 2s 6d for liberty to do so.
Stratford Flour Mills Company Ltd. allowed to use warehouse at wharf at Wallbridge used by late Mr Biddell for deposit of flour, corn and other things. Must keep warehouse in good repair, and pay all rates and taxes.
Mr Knee and Mr Nurse not allowed to use Wallbridge and Dudbridge wharfs for depositing coal brought by railway.
4d per ton on household Bullo coal at Downfield Wharf. No other coal allowed to be landed there. John Cottle of Dudbridge will superintend the wharf.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 19^th day of September 1865
Present: M^r J H Warman, W W Kearsey Chairman, C Hawker, C H Fisher, C Hooper.
M^r King the Tenant succeeding S^l Critchley at the house and Wharf at Bristol Road having purchased the Warehouse Stable and oak coal Pen there from M^r Critchley the out-going tenant these things are to be considered as removable by M^r King but all other things about the premises are to be considered fixtures and not be removable.
Resolved that no vessel be allowed to pass through any Lock in the Canal after Sunset and before Sunrise without having previously obtained on each occasion from the Clerk or Surveyor a special Pass for the purpose for which 1^s/ is to be paid and without having a good light at the head of the vessel and being attended by the Lockkeeper of the Lock which is passed through. Also that the Clerk do forward a Copy of this Resolution to all parties who have hitherto had Night Passes.
The Clerk is to ascertain what Penalty H Nurse has incurred in entering the Canal at Framilode and departing against the order of the Lockkeeper and for having no Ticket and paying no Tonnage and see the same enforced.
Resolved that no person be allowed to take a vessel to their land or yard from the Canal for the purpose of repair or for any other purpose without previously paying the sum of 2^s/6^d for liberty to do so.
Resolved that the Stratford Flour Mills Company (Limited) be allowed to use the Warehouse on the Wharf at Wallbridge formerly used by the late M^r Biddell for the deposit of Flour Corn and other things brought thereto and taken from the same by the Canal until this permission shall be withdrawn on the condition that such Company keep the Warehouse in as good repair as when taken to and pay all rates and Taxes (if any) which may be assessed upon it in consequence of its use by the Flour Company.
Resolved that the Clerk inform M^r Knee and M^r Nurse who use the Wallbridge and Dudbridge Wharves for depositing Coal brought by Railway that they will not be allowed to do so.
Resolved that until further Order a Tonnage of 4^d per Ton on Household Bullo Coal be charged at Downfield Wharf and that Coal of any other description be allowed to be landed there. Also that the Clerk give immediate notice of this Resolution to M^r Knee M^r Ward and M^r Nurse and inform them that Jos^h Cottle of Dudbridge will superintend the Wharf.
Ordered that the General Half Yearly Meeting be held on Tuesday the 24^th October next at 2 o'clock and the Clerk to give the usual Notices and that the Meeting of the Committee be held on the same day at 12.30 o'clock.
