At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 7^th da of February 1866
Present: M^r J H Warman, J T Fisher Chairman, G H A Beard, C H Fisher, T M Croome, W W Kearsey.
M^r T M Croome of Cainscross in the County of Gloucester attended on behalf of the Rev^d William Eycott Martin of Rochester in the County of Kent, Clerk, sole Executor under the Will of the late Richard Martin of Rochester aforesaid deceased, and made out the Claim of the said W^m Eycott Martin to 2 Shares numbered 114 & 115 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation lately belonging to, and now standing in the name of the said R^d Martin deceased, in the books of the said Company of Proprietors, by producing the Probate of the Will of the said R^d Martin deceased, bearing date the 10^th day of February 1865, and proved in the Principal Registry of her Majesty's Court of Probate on the 21^st day of October 1865, and a Declaration by the said W^m E Martin that the said Tickets or Titles had been lost, or, mislaid, and the Claim of the said W^m E Martin was admitted accordingly, and new Tickets ordered to be made out.
The Draft Petition referred to in the last Committee was produced read and approved.
Ordered that the Seal of the Company be affixed to the same when completed.
