Amos Cook, master of vessel ‘Henry’ drew one of top paddles of Blunder Lock before closing lower gates. Fine of 5s.
Barge ‘Emily’ belonging to Messrs. Ford, on 30 July carried bricks from railway bridge to Ryeford, without giving account of them. Clerk to ask Messrs Ford to render an account.
The ‘Jane’, E Webb owner, Amos Workman master, navigated through the Dock Lock without first opening both the top gates on 15 August. A Workman fined 5s.
Mr Knee’s vessel, the ‘Lewis’, J Browning captain, navigated canal without a fender. Fine 5s.
J Cottle reported that Wm Walkley, captain of barge ‘Alma’, on 13 August neglected to shut lower gates of Dudbridge Lock before drawing paddles of Foundry Lock and caused waste of water. Fined 2s 6d.
J Cottle reported C Chandler for fishing in Stroud Pound with casting net. Summons to be taken and enforced against him.

M^r Peyton reported that Amos Cooke Master of the Vessel Henry drew one of the top Paddles of the Blunder Lock before closing the lower gates.
Ordered that the Clerk inform him that unless he pays a Fine of 5^s/ the full Penalty will be enforced against him.
M^r Peyton reported that the Barge Emily belonging to Mess^rs Ford on the 30^th of July carried bricks from the Railway Bridge to Ryeford without giving any account of the same.
Ordered that the Clerk write to Mess^rs Ford to render an account of the said Bricks and any others.
M^r Peyton reported that the Jane, E Webb Owner Amos Workman Master, navigated through the Dock Lock without first opening both the top gates on August 15^th.
Ordered that A Workman be fined 5^s/ or the or the full Penalty enforced against him.
M^r Peyton reported that M^r Knee's Vessel the Lewis J Browning Captain navigating in the Canal without a Fender. ~~~ Ordered that J Browning be fined 5^s/ or the full Penalty enforced against him.
J Cottle reported that W^m Walkley Captain of the Barge Alma on the 13^th August neglected to shut the lower gates of the Dudbridge Lock before he had drawn the Paddles of the Foundry Lock and thereby occasioned a Waste of the Water.
Ordered that he be fined 2^s/6^d or the full Penalty be enforced against him.
J Cottle reported that C Chandler was fishing in the Stroud Pound in the Parish of Stroud with a casting net on the 14^th August.
Ordered that a Summons be taken and issued against him.
