Mr Warman brought duplicate exchange deeds of land at Stonehouse Wharf between Company and Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway Company. Approved.
Messrs. Fielding and Platt’s estimate for a pump with brass bung and brass piston rod, £16 10s, to be accepted. Pump to be lent to traders at moderate charge.
Annual subscription of £5 to Cainscross Gas Inspectors.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 20^th day of November 1866

M^r William Warman attended with the Duplicate Exchange Deeds of land at Stonehouse Wharf, between this Company and the Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway Company, which were approved, and the Seal of the Company was ordered to be affixed to both parts.
Ordered that Mess^rs Fielding's and Platt's estimate for a Pump be accepted, the same to cost with brass bung and brass Piston rod, Sixteen Pounds ten shillings, and that the requisite length of Pipe be provided.
Ordered that the Pump be lent to Traders at a moderate charge in the discretion of the Surveyor.
Ordered that the usual annual Subscription of £5..00..0 be paid to the Cainscross Gas Inspectors.
A Letter from M^r W W Kearsey to M^r Croome was read as to the terms of the Resolution for fixing the Salary of the Company's Solicitor, and whilst the Committee did not feel themselves at liberty to alter the Resolution of the General Meeting, they desired to explain to M^r Kearsey, that their understanding of the Resolution is, that it should read "costs of Actions actually brought or commenced," instead of "actual cost of Actions brought".
