Summary

Mr Clissold having applied to the Committee to postpone the repair of the culvert at Ebley for the present on account of his having occasion for the water, ordered that it be postponed until a convenient opportunity.
William Beard reported that several coping stones were wantonly thrown from the bridge at Stonehouse into the canal and several gates on the side of the canal were thrown down by some person or persons unknown. Hand bills are to be painted, offereing a reward of 10 guineas for apprehending the offenders, to be paid on conviction.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroud water Navigation held at the Committee room at Walbridge on Wednesday the 28^th of June 1809
Present: James Tyers, W^m Stanton, Sir Sam^l Wathen, Nath^l Jones, Jos^h Grazebrook, Tho^s Holbrow, Rowles Scudamore, Nath^l Wathen,
Read the minutes of the last meeting.
Mr Clissold having applied to the Committee to postpone the repair of the Culvert at Ebley for the present on account of his having occasion for the Water, Ordered that it be postponed untill a convenient opportunity.
William Beard reported that a short time since several of the Coping Stones were wantonly thrown from the Bridge at Stonehouse into the Canal and several Gates on the sides of the Canal were thrown down by some Person or Persons unknown.
Ordered that hand Bills be printed, offering a reward of Ten Guineas for apprehending the Offender or Offenders to be paid on conviction.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Wednesday the 9^th of Aug^t next at 5 o'Clock in the Afternoon at y^e Committee room at Walbridge.
